The League of Women Voters Greater Grand Rapids has been invited once again by the Gerald R Ford Museum to provide voter registration and nonpartisan voting information in the lobby of the museum during ArtPrize.
The museum will again provide volunteers with complimentary parking on museum grounds.
ArtPrize 2023 runs from September 14th through October 1. We are planning to have volunteers in the lobby from 11-5 each day of the event. We are planning to have two shifts per day – 11 AM – 2 PM and 2 PM – 5 PM with two volunteers per shift.
In the past the museum has been kind enough to store our supplies onsite which makes it easier for the volunteers.
Due to the numerous changes to voting laws going into effect next year a short training session will be held before ArtPrize begins for all volunteers. Date and time to be announced in early September.
